1. How do I register for an instructor-led training program?
You can easily register online for any Relex training program at any time. You can also send an email to training@relex.com, or call the Relex Software Worldwide Office at 724.836.8800, ext. 2616.
2. What is the dress code?
The dress code is business casual.
3. Who makes the travel arrangements?
Attendees are responsible for making their own travel/lodging arrangements. The Majesty Transportation Group provides shuttle service from the Pittsburgh International Airport to Greensburg, PA. Majesty requires 24-hour notice to reserve passage. Click here to visit the Majesty web site, or send an e-mail to info@majestytransportation.com to make a reservation.
4. What is the preferred method of payment?
Purchase Orders are the preferred method of payment. However, Relex Software can issue an invoice for the cost of an instructor-led training program. We also accept corporate checks and major credit cards.
5. How much does instructor-led training cost?
| Relex Training Course |
Tuition |
| Relex Reliability Software Training (Relex-Hosted) |
$1,500 per student (does not include any travel/lodging expenses incurred by the student) |
| Relex Software Training (Onsite) |
$10,000 per class (maximum of 20 students) (includes all travel/lodging expenses incurred by the Relex trainer) |
6. Does Relex provide training materials?
Relex provides all students with training outlines which include copies of all material presented, as well as additional valuable information. These outlines can be used throughout the instructor-led training program for taking notes and are a great reference source once training is completed. However, we recommend that you bring an additional notebook and extra writing utensils.
7. Does Relex provide computers for the instructor-led training class?
Relex-hosted training: Relex supplies computers and software for the entire duration of the Relex-hosted software training program. Onsite training: Students who attend an onsite software training program must provide computers (at least 1 for every 2 students) running the current version of Relex software.
8. Are the instructor-led training programs 3 full days?
Relex's instructor-led training programs typically span a three-day period, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Depending on the specific training program, the lessons requested by the students, and the discretion of the trainer, the program length can be altered.
9. Can I attend even if I haven't purchased Relex software?
Absolutely! Attending a Relex training program is an excellent way to learn more about reliability engineering, evaluate the Relex software modules, and determine which ones will best suit your company's specific needs.
10. How can I receive training on the Relex modules not covered in Relex-Hosted Training courses?
In order to maximize your learning experience, and to ensure you get the best experience with the least impact on your time away from the office, our instructor-led training classes span a three day agenda. If you are interested in a module not covered in the three-day agenda and are on the Relex Gold Maintenance Plan, you can request a RETAIN session on these modules. Additionally, these modules can be incorporated into a custom Onsite Training class.
11. Where should I stay when coming to Relex?
Each student attending a Relex-hosted software training program is responsible for his or her own travel arrangements. Relex recommends making reservations at the Four Points by Sheraton Greensburg.
12. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and rescheduling requests for Relex training must be received in writing by mail, fax, or email 21 days prior to the start of the training program. Failure to receive cancellation notices before then will result in a cancellation fee of 25% of the training cost and may also require payment of all non-refundable travel expenses incurred by Relex representatives.
