insure on-time, on-budget results. The 4D Process includes: Discovery, when system
requirements are determined; Design, at which time Relex engineers work in a
collaborative environment to define your system; Development, when Relex engineers
implement the design; and lastly Delivery, when your custom solution is deployed. |
Relex Implementation Services can support you in the design and implementation
of your Relex FRACAS system, ensuring that it meets your requirements. By using
our services, you can dramatically increase the efficiency and speed of process
implementation and deployment, while minimizing the risks often associated
with the introduction of new enterprise systems. Relex Implementation Services
provides full cycle project management for your FRACAS objectives. Whether you
are initiating a brand new FRACAS process, modifying a FRACAS process presently
in place, or replacing a legacy FRACAS system, Relex Implementation Services is
adept at making the process smooth and efficient while making sure your overall
objectives are met.
Proven 4D process.
Relex Implementation Services originated Relex’s full-cycle, 4D process
as a tool to customize customer systems to unique requirements and,
if needed, configure software tools to support objectives. This four-step
process—Discovery, Design, Development, and Delivery—delivers on-time,
on-budget results. Working together every step of the way, your project
is organized and scheduled by expert managers and delivered by trained
professionals.
Discovery.
During the Discovery phase, we work with you to define your specific
system requirements. This involves understanding functional and capacity
requirements, success factors of the project, use scenarios, and process
flow. During this time, Relex Implementation Services works with you
to define and improve process efficiency drawing from their ongoing
experience and prior successes.

Rely on the Relex team. Relex Implementation Services has successfully
delivered a wide range of custom FRACAS solutions, from aerospace and
defense applications to commercial venues. In addition to their work on
FRACAS designs and configurations, they can provide valuable input into
the long and mid-term strategic plans for Reliability and Quality groups. |
Design. The initial portion of the design phase involves working with you to develop a
Statement of Work (SOW). A detailed project scope is defined to specify all components of your
FRACAS system. A Design Document is also developed to detail the structure of the FRACAS
system including the forms, reports and graphs that will be delivered with the project.
Development. During the development phase, the FRACAS project
is implemented according to the design. Frequent progress meetings are
held with you to help monitor progress and insure the design objectives
are being met.
Delivery. During
delivery, the FRACAS software is installed at your site and your custom
FRACAS solution is deployed. Relex works with you to ensure the system
is installed and working properly. At this time, onsite system walkthroughs
may be conducted. A checklist is supplied and evaluated to ensure
that all your needs and requirements are met.
Data connectivity.
Relex Implementation Services can also work with you to develop streamlined
approaches for the transfer of data to and from your FRACAS system
to other applications within your enterprise. Data connectivity requirements
are varied and the Relex Implementation engineers work with you to
define a custom solution to meet your requirements.
Adapting to your
needs. Relex Implementation Services has designed and implemented
FRACAS systems for a wide range of industries including aerospace
and defense, telecommunications, and commercial electronics. In order
to successfully support the diverse FRACAS needs of these industries,
Relex has designed its FRACAS product to be a highly configurable
system. First, FRACAS can be configured as a single-user system or
a large distributed system handling hundreds of users in a geographically
distributed environment. Second, Relex FRACAS can readily support
the requirements of different industry segments by providing a number
of data entities and constructs which can be utilized as part of an
implementation: system trees, incident reports, repair logs, output
reports, custom calculations, and data filters to name a few. The

Client Industry: Aircraft Radar
Synopsis: Synopsis: Relex Implementation Services installed and custom configured
FRACAS software to manage the closed-loop incident tracking process for
an aircraft-based radar target tracking system. Incident data is captured in
the field and forwarded stateside to engineers for corrective action analysis.
Reports and results are disseminated throughout the organization.
Client Industry: Telecommunications
Synopsis: Synopsis: Relex Implementation Services developed a database connector
to link the client’s customer relationship management (CRM) system to a
previously installed Relex FRACAS system. The connector transfers data in
real-time or batch mode from Oracle database views directly into FRACAS
tables. The connector tracks whether data has been processed, sends e-mail
notifications of data import status, and can perform transformations on
data prior to import.
Client Industry: Autonomous Vehicle Research
Synopsis: Synopsis: Relex Implementation Services
developed and installed a FRACAS system to track incidents
for an autonomous vehicle challenge. The software captured
data for incident occurrence, analysis, and resolution
in support of multiple entries in the vehicle race. A
representative noted that “FRACAS was a significant contributor
to the success” of the project.
Client Industry: Army Command and Control
Synopsis: Synopsis: Relex Implementation Services developed a new FRACAS system
to be used to support an Army command and control program. Closed-loop
incident tracking and reliability metrics are used to monitor the program.

FRACAS software to coordinate the policy, claim and service request management
processes within their organization. The software provides forms
for adjusters to capture relevant data in a closed-loop process, data-mining,
