Design for Reliability encompasses prediction and MTBF evaluation, component derating analysis, reliability performance evaluations, and availability studies. Client Industry: Private aircraft
Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services performed Failure Mode and Effects Analysis for an existing product to ensure that the product met the device qualification requirements.

Client Industry: Medical device
Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services was responsible for reliability consulting activities through the product development cycle of a new medical device.

Client Industry: Data acquisition and storage
Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services developed a model of the client’s highly redundant data acquisition and storage system that could be easily modified and updated throughout the design phases, and could provide accurate availability and MTBF metrics for the system.

Client Industry: Commercial aerospace
Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services analyzed several what-if scenarios of system redundancy for future product development, as well as redundancy analysis for an existing product.

Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services designed and developed a custom software analysis package to aid in the analysis and risk reduction of human errors in complex processes. In conjunction, instructor-based and online courses were developed to train on methodology and usage of the software package.

Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services designed and developed a custom software solution for modeling phased-based systems.

Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services supported the failure rate analysis of a new device which had to meet the failure rate of a predecessor unit.

Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services performed Weibull analysis on field and warranty data for an existing product. Relex performed Reliability Growth Modeling to determine failure rate predictions and projections.

Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services aided in the process of assessing and improving availability metrics for a fault tolerant storage system and for future products. The results included recommendations for meeting the system’s availability requirements.

Synopsis: Relex Reliability Consulting Services performed device failure rate analysis. The failure rate and MTBF were analyzed over temperature and the reliability over time.
