Relex Reliability Studio is available in the following editions:

For large-scale, enterprise-wide use, Relex is offered as an Enterprise Edition. The Enterprise Edition operates on the industry-leading Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases for the ultimate in security, scalability, and robustness. For those not needing a large-scale deployment, but still in need of the security features, Relex is offered as a Corporate Edition. The Corporate Edition, which provides the same features as the Enterprise Edition, operates on the supplied Microsoft SQL Server Express, and supports small workgroup, multi-user environments. The Corporate Edition is a good choice for deployments with no more than 10 users, and average size data requirements. For even smaller teams of up to 5 people without the needs of large database requirements or web interfacing, the Team Edition is available.

Special Capabilities of the Corporate and Enterprise Editions

Relex Enterprise Edition provides a fully-featured enterprise solution supporting both web- and Windows-based front ends. Built on a robust and proven n-tier architecture, the Enterprise Edition offers a scalable, interoperable system supporting thousands of simultaneous users. The Enterprise Edition offers zero-client web-based components to allow access via your company's intranet or the Internet, as well as feature-rich Windows clients. Because all components operate seamlessly together, you system can be configured in any combination you choose.

While providing more extensive data storage and reliability, the Relex Enterprise and Corporate additions also provide a host of additional powerful capabilities beyond the Team Edition, including:

Relex iArchitect’s dashboard feature provides real-time, high-level overview of your key quality and reliability indicators in a uniquely visual format. Affording management-level visibility of information, dashboards can display critical system metrics at any time and from any location.

Alert Capability. The Relex Alert Module offers comprehensive, real-time monitoring of your system. Adaptable to your needs, the Alert Module is a powerful, watchful eye which will automatically alert appropriate personnel when critical issues arise. The Alert Module may be used to alert managers when a corrective action is overdue, or alert an engineer when open issues are reaching a critical level. Completely customizable, a wide range of alerts can be set up and can trigger email, as well as instant message notifications.

Audit Control. Data security is a must for many enterprise applications. Knowing what changes have been made, when and by whom, are crucial to insuring that data integrity is maintained. The Relex Audit Module offers complete audit trails capabilities to support this requirement.

Security. The Corporate and Enterprise Editions provides a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt data for secure Internet communications. Full user and group based permission setting is supported, as well as password protection, user authentication, and secure access. A fully-featured Relex Administrator Module allows the Relex Administrator control over system security.

Web Browser Access. Web browser support is available in the Enterprise Edition, providing world-wide zero-client access to your reliability tools through Relex iArchitect. Relex iArchitect supports FMEA and FRACAS based activities. Additionally, Relex iArchitect includes a powerful Dashboard capability. The dashboard feature provides real-time graphical views of your key reliability and quality indicators in a uniquely visual format. Dashboards give you the overview you need to insure your system is operating smoothly; allows you to keep a constant handle on your key reliability, quality, and safety indicators; and is a great management tool.
